Welcome all to the Red Team - here are a few things you should know.
First off congrats and welcome team, yeah its a hard slog but good luck.
Now, although it looks as though you are completely stuffed, that just wouldn't be fair, so here are a few bits and pieces to help you out. Feel free to swap them around and use them individually each Night, you can use any of them you like.
~~~
Gadget - The Link Splitter - You have a little gadget that disables the transmitter in the wedlock ring, which means that if a ring is detonated then it will either not send out the signal to detonate the other ring, or it ensures the disabled transmitter will not receive the command to detonate.
~~~
Gadget - Link Tracker - A gadget that can work out who each Wedlock Ring is linked to.
~~~
Gadget - Activator - A small gadget that sends a directed high frequency pulse that will activate the wedlock ring with a 1 minute countdown causing it to detonate. At the same time, the activated wedlock ring will also send out the corresponding signal and detonate the linked ring.
~~~
As they are gadgets, you are also free to pass it to any other player not in the Red Team for them to use instead of using the gadget at Night. The new player will only know that they have a gadget to use and not who it has come from.
State clearly in the thread who is using which gadget each Night and who on.
And finally - you really, really, don't want to let the following people bite the bullet. It would be bad for your health.
Caerie, PWIAG, deon, Special Ed.

Well this is interesting. Please don't bus me the first day Storyteller in return I will try not to be my usual bitchy self and get lynched the first day. I am assuming these are the people we are linked to: Caerie, PWIAG, deon, Special Ed. Cat: can we use each of the devices everynight? or just one? What's with the 1 minute countdown on the activator? How long does the Link Splitter work? One night, One day-night cycle, forever?

We don't get to talk during the day, correct? Can we use the gadgets Night 0?

Is the activator our only Night Kill?

I don't see the use of the link tracker if we already know who we're paired with?
Off the top of my head I guess we could give it to one of our four paired people so that they'll use it on themselves. Then they might try to avoid lynching whoever their match is? Very risky though.

It would tell us who will give us the bigger bang for our buck.

Cat: can we use each of the devices everynight? or just one? What's with the 1 minute countdown on the activator? How long does the Link Splitter work? One night, One day-night cycle, forever? Each person in the Red Team can use one gadget per Night, there are currently Four Red Team and Three gadgets. 1 minute countdown is colour. The Activator is effectively your Night Kill. The Link splitter is permanent. We don't get to talk during the day, correct? Can we use the gadgets Night 0? You may Day talk. No, you cannot use the gadgets on Night 0.

Hmm, link splitter is permanent? Then presumably makes sense to use it on the 4 people we're linked to first? Unless one of us is up for an early lynch, when we can at least take out a townie too.
Are the four people in the OP definitely the people we're linked to

Whew, lots of stuff.
(1) I'm not sure I totally agree that we should necessarily use the Link Splitter on our own opposite numbers - at least, not initially. Consider that we perform (at least one of) the Night kills, so while we might get surprised by an overeager Vig or Serial Killer, we at least have some measure of control over whether our various opposite numbers die. On the other hand, if we maintain the links, then every single time they catch or kill one of us, we get half a mislynch back because our opposite number will die, too. Right? So if they get lucky Day 1 and lynch, say, Mahaloth, we'll get a random free Day kill out of it, mitigating the damage to our side. PLUS: if we play in such a way as to try to not-lynch our opposite numbers, it will generate all kinds of noise in Town attempts to analyze our actions. Right? If it's Day Six and two of us are dead and someone goes back and notices that it appears the lot of us made an effort back on Day Two to keep Special Ed alive, it could easily result in a mislynch (and we could de-link Special Ed at that point).
(2) I think it might be a useful Day 2 ploy for one of us to claim that the Link Splitter was "passed" to us. Thoughts?
(3) I'm excited to play Scum with y'all. sinjin, I've been hoping to end up as Scum with you since roughly my Blade Runner game!

The thing about not splitting our links is that there's four of us linked to another 4. So lynching or Vig'ing any of 8 people out of 24 is going to be 1 down for the Scum team. Like a 1 in three chance if it was picked at random

(2) I think it might be a useful Day 2 ploy for one of us to claim that the Link Splitter was "passed" to us. Thoughts? I don't think we should admit it's a gadget at all. And I'd prefer to do it for a different power. Someone could easily fake claim "collar detective" or some such using the Link Tracker. And I don't think it's much value for town to know who they're linked with unless it's one of us or a claimed power or something.

Storyteller: The blade runner game remains one of my favorite. I think Cassia and I had a better time than any one else on our little private board.
Back to this game. I also don't want to announce any thing about our gadgets too soon. Except maybe if we need a diversion.
Can we kill sachertorte? Now? He is such a good player and he always kills me when I'm scum.
If person who has been unlinked is killed is his linkee revealed on death?

Is it safe to assume town have gadgets too? I'm thinking due to colour no one will have a "power role" as such, just gadgets.
(sorry for word vomit over here, it's my first game as scum and I'm not really sure how to play it :/)
