Is it safe to assume town have gadgets too? I'm thinking due to colour no one will have a "power role" as such, just gadgets. I'm thinking that town has gadgets too, something to detect pairs? Maybe a day power so they can stop a blue-blue mislynch? Not a problem, half the fun (maybe all) of scumitude is being able to plot and imagineer with your scum-buddies. When I was the last scum standing, which happened way too often for me, I came to the scum thread and talked to myself.

Ironically, I'm usually more nervous posting as a townie. At least as scum I kind of feel that if that even if I do say something stupid then at least ye can call bus me and I'll still kind of be helping.

This post by InnerStickler is interesting:
That would be a rather nice town gadget.
Edited to add: Or a PFK gadget.

Actually I think Pollux could be set up for a lynch with this. Seeming certain about powers etc but leaving an "I would think" as a back up clause. Possible PIS? Although it's probably a bit early to start trying to manipulate things

Welp never mind, not after what Lightfoot said there. Although I don't know why she's so dismissive of slips - in Mystery Mafia on the dope at least 2 scum were lynched for slips and one should have been but people missed it.

Honestly, even as Scum it annoys me when people do what Lightfoot and Paranoia and Special Ed are doing - dismiss a topic of conversation as irrelevant and "distracting." Seriously, distracting from what? It's a game entirely based around conversation about the game. No, slips are not always genuine slips, but sometimes they are. And even when they're not, people's reactions to them produce useful data later on. But hell, if they'd all rather talk about nothing, I'm happy to oblige.

Holy shit, she wasn't lynched for that? What did the Town think happened there? I have no context at all and I'd have voted for her in a heartbeat.

To explain that for people who weren't playing Mystery - the post I linked was from the aftergame discussion. Lightfoot had subbed in for a scum player after she'd been lynched(?) as town. She'd said she couldn't believe she didn't get lynched again as her first post as Lightfoot2 was meant for the scum board but no one noticed.
