CIAS, just in case you missed it - our win condition is to control the vote, right? Or do we need an outright majority? Also, I can't find where you said what roles were in the game, if you did... we've got 4 scum, a cop, a doc, and 3 masons, right?

You need an outright majority to control the vote, ie, having equal to or more scum alive than there are townsfolk. The roles in the game are mentioned in the first post of the game thread.

Ok, so 3 masons is likely, if we assume that CIAS used the JSP system to balance. That'd be 21.5 Town 20.5 Scum.

Looks like we have a long game ahead of us, if we have to get Town down to 3 people (or fewer!). Any thoughts, wolfies?

HD said "Still, it might be time to start talking about bussing each other. For those of us who are scummier--me and Winston, by my reading--I think we can do well for ourselves by voting for each other toMorrow. That way, if we don't get lynched, we fly under the radar, and if we do get lynched, we buy points for making the right read. We'll just try not to build too good of a case against one another, so we don't actually swing the vote. Any thoughts, WS? "
HD, if it looks like you're drawing too much suspicion, I'll do something to draw attention.

Looks like we have a long game ahead of us, if we have to get Town down to 3 people (or fewer!). Any thoughts, wolfies? We don't, we need to bring them to four. "having equal to or more scum alive than there are townsfolk" There are 9 of them now, unless I missed somebody. The kill tonight makes 8, and we're 1/3rd of the total votes. Lynch Town tomorrow, and it's 7-4. Kill tomorrow night, and it's 6-4, and the Town is at lynch/lose. Lynch Town Day 4, and it's game over, because our kill that Night will make it 4-4. This means that if we keep our heads down through two more lynch cycles, we win. Don't do anything drastic unless we're forced to, guys.

I got drunk at lunch and don't remember - who are we going to kill tonight?

I think we should kill storyteller or daphne.. We don't really stand much of a chance of guessing the doc correctly anyway, so lets limit the number of confirmed. I think story might be a mason.
If one of you should get cornered, consider claiming doc. If nothing else, we might get countered.

Story is fairly likely to be lynched, tho, why do you think he's a mason?

Upon reread, I don't think he is. I just got a vibe from his posts, but I think it might be his usual style. He doesn't seem to know how many masons there are, so unless they know, he'd know.

Thanks, Winston. Kid V is right that we should hold off on the histrionics unless one of us has our back against the wall, though.
I'm still not sure who to pick, honestly. I'll have to go over our list of suspects again.

OK, my thoughts: RT: Still far too lynchable for my tastes. We're leaving him alone. PCM: Has at least a 50% chance of being protected toNight. He doesn't pose any great danger to us at this point unless things really go tits-up, so it's not worth the risk. DB: We can revisit this one later if we need to, but she's got the other 50% chance of being protected toNight, and we need to go for the jugular. We shouldn't waste a kill now. (This is a reversal of my previous sentiment.) Julie: Too bland. I'm all out of hot sauce, plus there's not much chance of instigating WIFOM. Boozy: More controversial. He's theoretically suspicious enough to be lynchable, but in practice, I don't think they'll do it. We eat him first and hopefully get the WIFOM going. Lunch Boozahol Squid P.I.Since I probably won't be awake and ambulatory in time to change my vote at the last minute, y'all have until I fall asleep tonight (anywhere from 20 minutes to five hours, probably) to change my mind. ToMorrow's Strategy* Lay low. Speak when you're spoken to, especially by townies, but don't draw any undue attention to yourself. * Wait as long as possible to vote. Give some reasoning for your vote. * If it looks like one of us is going to be lynched, vote for whoever the first Wolf vote went to. That is, go back through the thread and find out which one of us four voted first, and vote for whoever he voted for. If none of us four has voted yet, and you spot trouble brewing, vote for a Townie and we'll all fall behind you. (We'd better, anyway! ) The idea here is that, like Kid V said, they don't have enough time to notice the pattern, and we can swing the vote all by ourselves at this point, so there's no reason a Wolf should be lynched tomorrow. Let's make this a clean sweep, guys! We are going to make Mafia history!
